Nigel hoping for Moore at Oulton Park
Briton looking to convert practice form into maiden win

Having dominated the opening two practice sessions at Oulton Park, Nigel Moore is confident he can secure his first win of the series at the Cheshire venue.

Moore, currently second in the overall standings, has so far scored finished as runner-up four times this season - a record he admits he is looking to improve upon in tomorrow's two races.

"A win definitely looks on the cards," he enthused. "I've been second four times, which still bags good championship points, but it's not a win. I'm confident I can leave Oulton Park with at least one win though - maybe even two!"

Moore only graduated from saloon car racing at the start of the season, but has so far made the switch to single seaters look seamless, and continued the trend in practice by topping both timesheets having contested a GT4 race in Italy last weekend.

"I was racing in Italy last weekend, but I was quickly back into the habit of single seaters here," he explained. "I absolutely love Oulton Park, and have done since I started racing really - it's got wicked corners like Shell and Cascades, and there's a lot to it so it's really about knowing every bump.

"To come here and be as quick as I have been, it's certainly looking very good at the moment. I had a DNF finish at Snetterton which has cost us dearly, but I'm confident I can start hauling in Maxime (Jousse) this weekend - I'm really looking forward to it!"
